Reality in Scale - Old Road/Sidewalk - small- Large stones
set number: #35147
scale: 1/35 - printed card
The set:
This very cool item from Reality in Scale represents an old road or sidewalk in large stones. The item is marked as 'small' due to the size of the card and not the size of the stones. The printed card is textured somewhat and has recessed 'grouting' between stone blocks.
Also included in this set is some very fine green moss or grass. this is meant to be glued btween the stones as is often seen in real life. I would recommend white glue to secure this to the card.
Being of card (paper) the material can be cut and trimmed to size with a hobby knife or scissors. This review sample would be best used in a small vignette, cut in two for a longer side walk or to just palce a few figures on.
Verdict:
A handy little item for a small vignette at a good price. This will save you time and let you concentrate more on a small vehicle, motorcycle and or figures.
Reality in Scale - Enamel advertising signs - France
set number: #35010
scale: 1/35 - 54mm
The set
As with the previously reviewed German street signs and numbers, this sheet of printed sheet represents advert signs that are or could have been found in France around the WWII era.
The quality of the printing is very good, color is just as good. The signs have a look as if they are old signs, which it is suppose to be. The signs can be cut from the sheet with a hobby knife or scissors with ease. As with other paper or card products I use mainly white wood glue or Elmers white glue. A sealer coat of either enamel or acrylic should seal the paper if you plan on adding some weathering effects etc.

Reality in Scale
Carpets on real cloth
set number: #35001
scale: 1/48 -1/35 - 54mm
The set
'Carpets on Real Cloth', and that is what this is. Until now, we modelers had to use printed paper representaions of carpets and rugs for our models and dioramas, but no longer. Reality in Scale have come to the rescue with this set of carpets. Instead of printing carpet designs on paper they have printed various carpets and rugs on a cloth like material. There are mainly rectangluar shaped rugs and carpets, a round rug and even a longer runner. This material is thicker than pape or card stock and is soft like cloth.
To use the items you simply cut out the one you need with a pair of scissors, getting it close to the printed adge. If you need to glue the carpet down onto a floor I would thick that white glue would work best, just like with paper products.
Conclusion
This is a nice item to have on hand if you build dioramas, vignettes or like to add some color or civilian items to you vehicles. The variety and amount of rugs/carpets given should last a while if just using one or two per model.
