In-box review
Although this is not a new release and is a variant of two previous MiniArt kits, it was still worth taking a good look at. besides the normal in-box review I will be do a step by step build review of this kit.
The kit, as with the Mk I & II kits from MiniArt, is loaded with finely detailed parts and includes a complete interior and motor compartment. There are many small fragile parts so care should be taken when removing them from the sorue, cleaning and assembly.
The in-box review has been posted on the MSC Forum and can be found by clicking the link button .

AEC Mk III - Build review
Instead of reposting the build review that was started on the MSC forum, which is well into the build, I decided I would do a slide show of each step. I will add some description or other info such as misnumbered parts, fit issues etc.
I will add new images to the slide show as the build progresses, and will post a dated 'update', so check here often to see how this model comes together.
I will start a separate slider when it comes to painting and weathering the model.

The chassis and motor
With the interior painted and weathered, without going overboard, work continued on the chassis and drive train. Again, there are some very small and fragile parts that make up the suspension so care should be taken so as not to break or lose the small parts.
The motor was build out of the box as per the instructions with no addition of wiring, although that extra detail will make a big difference. I decided to not glue the motor in place, as this would make painting and weathering the motor much easier than having it in the motor comp of the car.
I was not able to find any photo reference for the color of these motors so I just winged it.
The next two slide shows show the motor built and then painted and weathered. The other are some steps in the instructions covering the building of the suspension, drive train and other parts.
